The setting prepares pre-licensure nursing students in class, lab, and clinical settings to bridge the gap between theory and practice. I have 20 years of nursing experience in progressive care and 14 years of experience in nursing education. I am a Certified Nurse Educator and serve on committees in the healthcare and local community.

In the community college setting, you'll work in a dynamic, supportive environment that values student-centered learning and emphasizes critical thinking and hands-on experience. This includes focus on creating lesson plans, assessments, active learning, simulation, and providing constructive feedback to students.
